Regarding editing capability, how about this for an idea:

Add a Copy function in a accordance with the standard published by the MagicPad guys. Then we could copy the content of a MightyDocs document, paste it into MagicPad, edit it in MagicPad and email the edited document back to Google Docs from MagicPad. I know it's not perfect, but it would allow us to edit Google Docs documents on the iPhone.

Steve, back in August, was on to part of the document opening problem I think, when he was referring to using WiFi versus 3G. I have had some connection difficulty too. I am using strictly 802.11n on my MacBook Pro and iMac, plus and I have an 802.11g network for an older iBook and our iPhones. I sometimes (often really) have connection issues when using my iPhone and laptop at the same time when both are on their respective Airport networks.

I'm currently very limited in time. So I haven't much time to work on my private projects. But currently I'm working on a better (native) spreadsheet view.
Editing capability isn't one of the main goals currently. Because it needs a lot to do for that and there are still a lot of limitations by the Google API.

Any plans to add editing capability?

Being able to download, edit and sync edited documents with Google Docs, would make this app perfect. Judging by traffic on the Google Docs group, I'm not alone in needing such a capability.

You're not the first with that problem. And I'm working on it.
The only workaround that I've figured out is that you can delete MiGhtyDocs from iTunes and from your iPhone afterwards re-download it from the App Store. That will maybe help!

Hi,

I love your app, but there seems to be a problem opening spreadhseets from the localized Google Docs in Hungary. The problem is somewhat different from the Japanese one above, because it doesn't even open the spreadsheet. The name appears just fine (with the right characters), but you can wait forever and it won't open.

My specs are: 1st generation iPod Touch, Mighty Docs v0.8

I can view the spreadsheet which an alphabet and a number are included in.
But, that spreadsheet can't open when Japanese is included in the character.
(The condition that a watch turns eternally)

I think with the problem of Japanese (two-byte character).
Help people in Japan which loves MiGhtyDocs, please.

What do you see when you open a Japanese spreadsheet? Just an empty sheet? Or some wrong encoded characters?
